Wrigley River Run and Tadpole Trot

The Wrigley River Run is an annual race for all ages and competitive levels hosted by the Long Beach Neighborhood Foundation.  The event is held on the first Saturday of June and offers something for everyone -- from stroller races and the “Tadpole Trot” for kids 10 and under, to a 5K, 10K, and a 10-mile race for more ambitious runners. The event also includes prizes, medals, and t-shirts for ALL participants (including the under 10 crowd).  The various race routes highlight Long Beach’s historic Wrigley neighborhood, the Los Angeles River bike path, and sections of the Dominguez Gap Wetlands trail.  The Wrigley River Run is the Long Beach Neighborhood Foundation’s signature event and is designed to promote community involvement, education, tolerance, and a healthy non-violent lifestyle.  All funds generated from the event are used to benefit youth organizations in Long Beach and the surrounding communities.  To register, visit: www.WrigleyRiverRun.com
